The Process

Overview

I had the pleasure of designing this course using the highly effective SAM model, which involves iterating on each process until I was thoroughly satisfied with its look and feel. As the primary person responsible for eLearning Development and Storytelling, I carefully reviewed the text-based storyboard to ensure it aligned with the overall course objectives. After thorough consideration, I decided to incorporate various sets of graphics to support the course’s storytelling and enhance its delivery.

To bring the scenario-based eLearning experience to life, I started by crafting the visual mock ups in Figma. To ensure seamless integration of text and images, I created a comprehensive visual storyboard. Once Subject Matter Expert (SME) gave their approval, I proceeded to develop an interactive prototype using Adobe Animate. Following its approval, I completed the project by building it in both Adobe Animate and Articulate Storyline.

Visual Mock ups

During my process of creating visual mockups created a style guide that will lead me during my development. The project leader and I discussed using the brand’s color schemes with additional supporting colors and typography.

To ensure consistency throughout the project’s development, I created a style guide during my visual mockup creation process. In collaboration with the project leader, who also served as the subject matter expert (SME), we worked together to incorporate appropriate typography into the design.

After creating the initial scenes, I iterated on them until all animations, sounds, and visuals blended seamlessly together. Quality assurance was paramount for this project, and as such, each screen underwent thorough review and feedback for iteration and consistency. Ultimately, this approach ensured that the final product was polished and met the project’s objectives.
