After taking a look at the Magic series by Chris Hodgson and Devlin Peck‘s escape room, I got inspired to create my own project —an Interactive Virtual Tour using several different 360° photos. I used three different 360 photos from various sources, and I’d like to explain how I adjusted these photos to match my project’s goals.
I found the main photo, featuring the beach, through https://lnkd.in/dnX2hCXR shared by Devlin Peck. However, this photo was missing a controller and a phone, so I used the PS Beta generative AI to add them in. I also made some edits to the room to give it a livelier atmosphere, such as adding fruits, a comfortable couch, rugs, a plant, and an open door that provides a view of a statue.
Next, I constructed the entire bathroom scene using a Skybox https://lnkd.in/d4Y_urQg. I carefully adjusted it to seamlessly fit with the room. After a few trials and errors, I achieved the exact results I was aiming for.
The remaining elements of the tour were created using hotspots and triggers to introduce users to the room and guide them to the beach.
